SFAI U15 National cup
Another massive effort from the lads to bring a brilliant cup run to a close. One they can be seriously proud of and, no doubt, one they’ll look back on in years to come.
Not much between the sides on the day. Chances were limited, and the difference came from a soft handball decision that St Kevin’s converted from the free kick. On another day it could easily have gone the other way. Barry Connolly was unlucky not to level it at the near post just before half time, and James Murray saw a long-range free kick brilliantly tipped over the bar in the second half. A string of corners followed, but it just wouldn’t fall for us.
The lads can hold their heads high — huge character shown right to the final whistle.
A big thank you to all the parents who travelled and backed the boys to the very end. And fair play to St Kevin’s for a sporting contest and for the hospitality in the clubhouse afterwards 👏
