A brilliant away win for our U14A boys this morning against a very tough Mallow Utd side in difficult, wet conditions 👏🌧️

The lads started on the front foot and dominated the early exchanges, with Ilya Tukels and Thomas Tucholski causing all sorts of problems for the Mallow defence. We were unlucky not to take the lead, creating several good chances — including one that rattled the post!

Against the run of play, we conceded a somewhat fortunate goal, but the response from the team was outstanding.

After regrouping at half-time, the boys came out with real intent and controlled the second half, though resolute defending from Mallow kept us at bay for long periods.

The breakthrough finally came in the last 10 minutes — Ilya Tukels grabbing a well-deserved equaliser after a great assist from Cillian Hurley ⚽

With momentum firmly on our side, the lads pushed on and got their reward. A superb attacking move between Ilya and Leo O’Leary ended with Leo showing great composure to chip the keeper and seal a fantastic winner! 🙌

All 14 players played their part — a top-class team performance full of effort, resilience, and quality 👏
